Harbor City Elementary School Reviews

Harbor City is an excellent school with a vision that is expressed through the outstanding teachers and staff.

My 2 sons love this school. Moving here from a larger school was good. Your kids are not just a number, they are apart of the school. The teachers are great and the music program is the best. I do think that the parents could be more involved but that has nothing to do with the school.

I found the school to be behind in technology. Teachers dont want to do after school activities. Not much going on for kids. P.E. And music teacher great

Academic programs are great Extracurricular activities are great Parents are asked to be involved

My child enjoyed her stay at HCE, we found the teachers and admin. to be very involved and easy to talk to. The teachers seem to be very up on the specific needs and goals of each child. All in all, a decent school.

I am very proud to be a gradmother, to two children in Harbor City Elem. School. The school is always involved with the students and parents. They always have alot of things going on. And if your child needs extra help, they let you know right away, and are thre beside you all the way.

I have two daughters who are 'Old Timers' (attended K - 6) of Harbor City, the youngest is currently in 6th grade (2003-2004). Each year the teachers went above and beyond to foster a love for learning. The entire Harbor City staff truly cares about every single student. It is a wonderful 'family' that my girls were fortunate to grow up in.

I have 2 children who have attended this school for 3 years. This school has provided the highest levels of education, and have been a positive roll in the maturaty of my children. During school breaks my children ask every day when school starts back; excited when the day comes!

My son, Jamie, attended Harbor City Elementary for his Kindergarten year. Mrs. Emmons (sp) was his teacher. His maturity and interest in learning flowered in her room. She reinforced lessons taught, and taught the children structure and how to meet expectations. Her guidance has helped my son to become the inquisitive, curious, almost 5th grader that he is today. A great Thanks to all of the staff at Harbor City!
