“I can't say enough good things about McNair. I have had three children go through their gifted/accelerated program; all three have been helped immeasurably, not only because of the strong and demanding programs but because of the caring, knowledgeable staff. From the principal to the custodians, everyone at this school is friendly and very capable. Absolutely everyone at this school is treated with respect and kindness, and you can feel it almost from the moment you walk in. One great recommendation is that I know lots of kids who graduate from McNair come back and visit and/or help out with various things. How many schools have kids who like the school so much they want to return regularly? In the gifted/accelerated team, the science and social studies programs are especially strong. The performing arts program is terrific. The new performing arts building will be great, as will be the new track!”
