Check-in was fast. I got a keycard for our room, and a coupon for all three of my kids to eat free at the breakfast buffet and lunch and dinner at the oceanside restaurant. That's a great deal!
The rooms open outside, rather than having interior corridors. On the way up the stairs I could see this resort needed work.
When I opened the door to our room, the first thing I noticed was the bright, tropical colors. There was a television cabinet with a 24-inch television and three drawers under it. Next to the television was a wide desk and a chair. The furniture and beds looked in good condition. The carpet looked as if it needed to be replaced, and I made up my mind to bring in my son's Pack-n-Play since I didn't want him falling asleep on the floor here.
There was a nasty odor coming from the bathroom and something rather disgusting was in the toilet, probably left by the last resident of the room. I tried to flush, but the toilet didn't work. I immediately called the front desk an
